Hygien D-Unloader Drum Unloading Station
Some product simply will not flow to a suction tube. Tomato concentrate at 28 to 30 Brix, heavy pastes and high-solids fillings sit in the drum and stay there. The Hygien D-Unloader solves that with a double pneumatic piston pump and a follower plate: the plate descends inside the drum on top of the product, seals against the drum wall so no air is drawn in, and pushes the product down to the pump inlet.
Why the Follower Plate Matters

- No air entrainment, because the plate seals against the drum wall
- No manual scraping, which removes both a labour cost and a contamination route
- Consistent feed to the downstream process instead of a starving pump
Published Specification
Model M125/H85DU delivers up to approximately 45 litres per minute at 65 strokes per minute. Weight approximately 220 kg with the pump fitted. Height range 1600 to 2800 mm, footprint approximately 1200 by 1000 mm. Stainless steel construction with product-contact parts in AISI 316L, PTFE, NBR and EPDM. Quick-release clamp coupling allows the pump to be swapped in seconds. Energised sealing gasket requires no adjustment. Compliant with EU machinery and food-contact material directives. ATEX Zone 1 or Zone 21 available on request.
